I would always ask for more,
and usually get it.
Papa would hand me a large chunk
with a larger grin.
With meat slab in hand I'd smile.
Gobbling it down I'd feel it's texture,
rough and flavorful.
That same flavor gushed through my tongue.
Tough to chew but fun to eat, quickly what was left were it's dark red remains.
Funny how I'd leave,
the jerky bag would still be there for me.
I'd run back,
and be welcomed back,
like my Papa with me.

Symphony of the Lake (The Midnight Stroll v2)
I sat apon a grassy green slope. The slope was covered in a variety of grasses, grasping for the waters below, and waving with the winds. The dirt felt moist and cold to the touch. I stared at a vast dark blue lake, lit up by a shimmering moon, waning and high. The lake sat below countless stars, dressing the skies with various hues of glimmering white. Endless forests of the most vibrant green were spread across the waving hills. The lake, wide and long, curved to my left. The midnight air brushed past my face, and the cool breeze cycled around me once again. It delivered to me a bursting smell of pine and grass that filled my nostrils. Na

Glowing beams surround the door
in the blackest night, i'm at it's core.
Tonight the slumber shall never arrive,
everyone's out like they weren't alive.
Midnight tonight inside a room,
stowed away inside this tomb,
I await the upcoming dawn,
but it never comes, the sun is gone?
Perhaps, we'll have to see,
but in the night i'm never free.
Sad really, nothing to do
outside ground is darkened blue
lit up by a shimmering moon,
shadows dance to the dreary tune,
of crows cawing at silhouettes
through the window without regrets
staring at the man inside
who stares back and decides to bide
on and on till the morning leers

Days ago I was alone,
but after thursday I had grown
closer to God and I'm a happier dude,
cause you took my secret and stripped it nude.
It was exposed for the first time that night,
you however, were comforting and ended my fright.
So thanks for how you helped, and how you will assist,
my doubts are fading away like mist.
But I also say thanks for an opportunity,
to help a great friend and to bring her serenity.
You're my Abigail, to help stop Nabal
and vice versa.now I won't fall
cause now I have someone to trust.
Someone to help when I'm confronting lust,
someone to help me feel well,
I'd like to thank you Rachel!
Now what to say about her,
And what to say of what will hopefully occur?
She brings me into a feeling of serenity,
A serenity that brings joy, a joy that lasts for infinity.
Life's blues crumble when she's around;
She is of the upmost beauty, I've found.
High in intellect and of extreme intelligence,
Makes me stop, to create a defense,
Because she is the one I love;
Perfection from above.
I hope to reveal this all by the final day,
But being nervous will take that wish away.
But there's that cursed thing, fate,
It'll make us say our farewells, and separate,
Which would kill me a little, on the inside
Being on the opposite sides
When the two halves were a whole, alive,
one half went out of his way to strive
to be with the other half at all time,
but couldn't decide between the friends or half, which was prime?
he tried to mix the two but it never worked,
but eventually the whole split, dead, and he berserked
because the other half was now blended,
with the friends whose connection was about to be ended.
"Why does the half now blend?" asks the fraction who's healing
"and why does she give me a horrible feeling?"
A feeling of pain and thought,
as if his stomach was about to rot,
away into nothingness forevermore.
His mind beats into an uproar,
to get away
I look to see if happiness occurred;
i'm responded to by self-ridicule and melencholy incurred.
I make a mistake or two and taken away,
my respect and the life I live each day
in which I've come to expect,
to one day obtain in retrospect,
the love I once had,
and to once again be glad.
But for now I'll stay as I am,
now seen as but a hologram,
a hologram full of sad and sorrow
saying to himself "Oh, tomorrow,
tomorrow now in retrospect
I shall escape away into the silence, without respect.
I would always ask for more,
and usually get it.
